Lifetime's adaptation is largely changing the original story by making it sexier, as well as less exploitative and disturbing. I've seen a few other movies with the same type of themes - albeit much more raunchy and seductive in comparison to Babysitter's Black Book - and those others I was hooked into watching right to the end, where as this one only made me want to watch it to the end to know how it all miserably played out.
