During travels in numerous lands, I have listened to early recollections from the lips of veracious men and women. This year is the 70th anniversary and one of the publishers of the Autobiography of a Yogi the one that I work for hopes to share at least part of the audiobook for free. Every person who knew him, whether of his own community or not, held him in the highest esteem. Now, with this reprint, the 1946 edition is again available, with all its inherent power, just as the great master of yoga first presented it.
The master never posed for another picture; at least, I have seen none. It has been my privilege to have met one of the sages whose life-history is herein narrated—Sri Yukteswar Giri.
