Toyota called me back to say they would work out a plan with my dealer to fix the vehicle. I can increase the rpms, not a lot of course, but no tire movement at all. It still has that bizarre delay though and just last night I had noticed it was hunting around for a gear at highway speed again flat road, no wind, 55~60mph I kind of regret getting rid of my Rubicon for this truck. The only one I thought was compelling was the Colorado - and only because it has an optional diesel config. My 2016 Tacoma is doing the exact same thing. Also, My driveway has a slight slope. Walked onto the lot, saw the truck, sat in it, drove it, made the decision easy.
Clutch pedal was squeaky and I was told there was a tsb to replace those parts which changed how the clutch pedal felt improved and the angle of it. Please check the torque 3 I had to grease the U-Joints on the drive shafts myself. I have a manual 6 speed and haven't used the 4x4 yet either. I need the dealership to accept responsibility for this defective truck and take it into their service department and keep it until it is repaired. Dealer put in writing the truck was 2quarts low and replaced temperature sensor on trans. Mostly because of people like you. For all things Toyota Tacoma.

There are weird wind noises when there is a side-wind. Polar Bear 5th and 6th gear on the auto transmission are both overdrives. I am certainly in for a class action. This may lead to early failure of the smog control system and excessive oil consumption Toyota claims this is normal for this truck. I explained my situation and said I've been having a great time in the truck but I have some worries.
