With the rear of the V safely supported, remove the fill plug first. I will put the long hose into the fill hole, and them pump the thing until fluid starts coming out the fill hole, indicating that the case is full to the plug hole. If when reinstalling either of the rear mount bolts, and you experience high resistance before the bolt is near contacting the bushing, I would highly suggest removing the bolt, cleaning the threads and reinstalling, repeating more than once if necessary.
